The "Green Initiative"
The Sonnenscein Green Initiative is a non-profit endeavor based in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Through sharing knowledge and resources we strive to help our members and our communities learn, grow and teach self-reliance, sustainability, environmental responsibility and much more.
Our monthly meetings cover various topics of interest to the group and offer an opportunity to network and share knowledge with each other and very often include "How-To" demos and discussions.
We periodically sponsor workshops and participate in community efforts that improve the "green" in our areas - such as "Keep Tennessee Beautiful," litter pick-ups, seed-sharing and many other efforts.
